I just adore the burgundy color of Cindy & Bob's wedding invitations by Tag & Co. Gold foil stamping gave these a very elegant look! A gold envelope liner helped tie everything together, and the inserts were printed on eggshell with wine ink. Holding everything in place for mailing was a metallic gold "belly" band. Cindy & Bob’s Winter Wedding Invitations
Carin and Mike’s Lasercut Wedding Stationery
Carin was just the absolute sweetest! We worked together in my favorite way ("From the first save-the-date, to the last thank you note") and what a fun paper trail we left! The foundation of our design was a fall color scheme, including a beautiful burgundy. Carin first selected a stunning lasercut pocketfolder and we used the shape of those rose cutouts throughout her stationery. We echoed that lacy rose feeling with an asymmetrical border on the invitation, and then as accents on the ... Read the Post
Memar & Curtis’s Custom Wedding Invitations
Memar & Curtis came to me with some beautiful ideas for their luxe wedding invitations, but the fun really happened when we allowed a design for them to form organically -- from paper swatches and print samples, a few rough sketches, and a lot of trust! This elegant design was so much fun to create! A gold glitter backing layer sets the state for gold thermography on a marquis shaped metallic ivory printed layer. Accented with a touch of rose satin ribbon and paired with champagne ... Read the Post
Virginia & Kevin’s Custom Wedding Invitations
Virginia & Kevin's wedding on family property was a truly stunning event (I know, I stalked their photographer's blog and you should too! I was so pleased to be able to work with this family and their incredible planner Terry Kaye to create truly special invitations. We began with a pencil sketch they had of the house on this property. We digitized it and incorporated it onto this causal-yet-formal design that featured a navy blue backing layer. A beautiful lofty paper ... Read the Post
Crystal & Tyler’s Wedding Invitations
You saw Crystal & Tyler's Tiffany blue save-the-dates in last week's post. Today, I'll share their AMAZING, no really A-M-A-Z-I-N-G invitations. We toned down the color scheme this time and used just blush, but these invites are certainly not quiet! We start with large (6" x 9") glitter mailing box (No worries -- this glitter does not shed, it's lovely to look at and you won't be wearing it!) that was wrapped in a beautiful blush satin ribbon bow. Inside this stunning box was a ... Read the Post
Crystal & Tyler’s Save the Dates
Tiffany blue & blush were the colors Crystal & Tyler chose for their wedding weekend at the Greenbriar in September. There was a lot of information to share, so we bundled several pieces into a neat little package bound together with a monogrammed badge and ribbon with a crystal accent. We embraced the boldness of the color by using it as an accent layer behind the main Save the Date card, the ink color for thermography printing, the ribbon color for the closure, and the envelope ...
