Working with Terry of Terry Kaye Events is ALWAYS a treat. This project, was especially fun, though. To our consultation with Cameron & Justin, Terry brought swatches of their custom table linens for the reception as inspiration. These colors and patterns played a big role in their invitation design.
To give their invitations a classic and traditional feel, we used a formal script for their names and accent text. The baroque embellishments in the corners gave a bit of a vintage feel. The copper foil stamping bring the design completely up-to-date in a really elegant way!
This wedding was hosted at a family estate, and to help make their paper as personal as the rest of their event, we featured artwork of the home on their wedding website.
The “wow” factor for this design was the oversized baroque pattern of the foil stamped envelope liner. There is just something about copper foil on navy paper that makes my heart sing!
