This project was special! It was such a privilege to create a custom invitation for the daughter of a friend. Hayley and her mom both have great taste and our appointment was a fun session of quick decisions. She liked some elements from each of 3 different designs, and it was fun to put them together into one beautiful design.
Three shades of gray with a subtle pop of metallic blush worked so very well together, but the highlight of this design is definitely their names in a pretty calligraphy script across the top of the page in rose gold foil. White ink printing on a dark gray paper is a great way to send something just a bit “unexpected”.
The blush backing layer is actually a back pocket and the inserts stacked neatly in alternating colors behind the invitation.
Perhaps my favorite feature, though, was this darling brocade pattern on the envelope liner. What a great touch that shows you can insert some personality without going crazy.
Thank you to Hayley & Richard for allowing me to be a part of such a special day! May you enjoy a lifetime of happiness as husband & wife!
What Hayley had to say…
Kelly was an absolute dream to work with. I could not be happier with our invitations and that is all thanks to her. She even sent over multiple proofs to make sure we got the font EXACTLY as I wanted. We have gotten so many compliments from family and friends as they are receiving their invitations….
