I really enjoyed sitting down with Lisa to plan the invitations for her husband’s Navy retirement ceremony and reception. It was clear both how proud she was of his service, and how much she looked forward to their next adventure.
We kept things very traditional and formal with a layered invitation featuring gold and black thermography and a gold envelope liner.

For the ceremony program, Lisa sent along photos of the plane Rob flew as well as one of the carriers on which he served. I love when personal touches like this can be a part of an otherwise “scripted” event.
Unfortunately, these were delivered during the 3rd week in March — just as everything was shutting down due to the dreaded Corona Virus. I do hope that these can serve as a memorable keepsake even though the celebration didn’t have all the pomp, circumstance, and, well, guests that Rob’s family intended.
