How soon do we need to select invitations?
A comfortable timeframe to keep you free from stress is at least 4 months before the big day. From start-to-finish, you’ll want to plan to finalize your decisions and book your project at least 6 weeks before you need the invitations. We can often accommodate rush orders for an additional fee. Click here for more details about the timeline!
When should we mail our invitations?
Although the trend has been to get wedding invitations in the mail earlier and earlier, we still recommend following the traditional timeline (click here for the detailed explanation). Mailing too early allows your guests too much time to forget to reply. Requiring an early response from guests (anything more than 4 weeks) often leads to a large number of changes (i.e. last minute drop outs).
- If you will send Save the Date cards…mail your invitations 6-8 weeks ahead of your event with a reply date of 3-4 weeks ahead (if that works for your caterer!)
- If you will not be sending Save the Date cards…mail your invitations mailing up to 12 weeks ahead of the wedding is appreciated if a good number of guests will need to travel.
Do you have a minimum order?
A minimum order of $500 is required for orders from most collections. A minimum of $1000 is required for custom design. Because every package is customized to each client’s unique needs, pricing varies. For an idea of the cost of different print methods, visit this page.
Is postage included?
We are happy to take care of adding postage, stuffing, sealing the envelopes, and even mailing your invitations for you, for an additional fee. Be sure to ask about this service.
